HI! I’m Liyana Hanif

My work spans across art direction, branding, and visual storytelling, where I blend creativity with strategy to bring impactful ideas to life.

Beyond design, I’m deeply involved in fostering creative communities. In 2020, I started Just Bruneians, a platform dedicated to celebrating and supporting local creatives in Brunei.

More recently, I’ve been diving into the world of Generative AI, exploring how AI tools can enhance creative workflows. This led me to co-found SEA-Up, an initiative focused on upskilling Southeast Asian youth with AI-driven creative skills.

When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me giving talks on branding, AI, and creativity. Most recently at the ASEAN-KOREA Innovative Culture Forum in Jakarta, where I discussed how AI is shaking up the design industry. I love sharing insights, geeking out over new tools, and convincing skeptics that AI won’t steal their jobs (but it might make them easier).
