MCDONALD’S CHICKEN MCNUGGETS ARE BACK CAMPAIGN

The Chicken McNuggets from McDonald’s has been out of stock from Brunei branches since the beginning of the pandemic due to import issues - over 2.5 years without it. Finally in 2022, the nuggets have returned back in Brunei and to announce its great return, a short 40 sec video teaser was created to “tease” the excitement. See above for the video.

The video showed a supercut of shocked/surprised and very happy local faces - with a closing line “The wait is over”, without any context of what product they were eating. The video was shared on the McDonald’s Brunei Instagram page and instantly went viral, the video received over 40k views within 24 hours. The comment section was filled with curiosity and excitement. The next following day, 3 short GIF videos were dropped with text to announce the arrival of the McNuggets. See below.
