DING!
Ding! is a new digital wallet feature in the Progresif CARE+ app. Tasked with creating a brand that would resonate with a young, tech-savvy audience and designed to stand out in a competitive market - the project focused on encapsulating the essence of sound—specifically "ding!" that signifies a successful transaction. My role involved developing the brand's visual identity, including the logo, colour palette, and all associated collateral.

The concept behind Ding! came from the sharp, bright, and quick nature of the "ding!" sound—commonly associated with positive reinforcement, completion, or activation. I researched how sounds can evoke specific emotions and how these auditory cues can be translated visually.
The hands in action illustrations depict various interactions with the ding! feature, emphasising the convenience and user-friendliness of our digital wallet. These illustrations are a visual representation of everyday actions that our users will perform, such as scanning QR codes, making payments, and transferring money.
Illustration style is Playful and Vibrant, shown in dynamic poses that convey action and movement, bringing a sense of energy to the visuals.
Visualising the sound of "Ding!" was an exciting exercise, the design features sharp, well-defined edges and dynamic shapes like starbursts that radiate outward, symbolising the burst of energy that the sound conveys. The colour palette, dominated by vibrant yellow and magenta, was chosen from the Progresif’s Brand Secondary Colours. Every design element, from the logo to the brand’s collaterals, was carefully crafted to ensure that the visual identity is as striking and memorable as the sound that inspired it. This approach not only creates a cohesive brand experience but also helps DING! stand out as a modern, playful, and instantly recognisable digital wallet.
